Dr Peter Zafiropoulos
Dr Peter Zafiropoulos grew up in Altona North, within walking distance from Altona Gate Dental. He is proud to be a local boy and loves the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 1990 and opened Altona Gate Dental in 1996, achieving his dream of establishing his own dental practice in his home town. He has successfully completed hundreds of hours in several postgraduate courses in Orthodontics, Implant Dentistry, Crown and Bridge and Restorative Dentistry. Peter is also a member of the Australia Dental Association. He is a proud father of five children and yes, he constantly needs to remind them to brush their teeth on a daily basis! He has a wonderful ability at making children feel comfortable and at ease and educating them on the importance of caring for their teeth.
Carmen Cham
Carmen graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Melbourne in 2011 and has been a valued member of our clinic since 2012. She has expanded her expertise to provide comprehensive care for both adults and children, offering dental examinations, restorations, and professional cleanings.
Passionate about gum disease treatment, Carmen is dedicated to helping her patients feel at ease with her gentle and compassionate approach.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, especially her son. Lately, she has developed a passion for gardening and enjoys watching her flowers thrive.
Kiara Montalto
Kiara graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Oral Health Therapy in 2023. She supports Dr Peter with many aspects of orthodontics full all ages.
