There are currently a large variety of Invisible or Clear Aligners available for your convenience. You can get them from local shopping centres, online and from chemists to name just a few. Some offer do it yourself impression kits that are sent to you to start the teeth straightening process, right in the comfort of your home. Some Clear Aligners can be delivered to your door as a full set, right from the start of treatment to completion. Some boast you don’t even need to see a dentist throughout your teeth straightening journey.
What makes an Altona Gate Dental clear aligner different?
Well, quite simply, none of the above. Our belief on teeth re-alignment, teeth movement and teeth adjustments is it is a serious dental procedure that needs careful monitoring. Each and every dental aligner given to you is made onsite by us and are customised individually for maximum comfort and benefit. Your completed Altona Gate Dental clear aligners will not be shipped from overseas and will not be made offsite.
Altona Gate Dental clear aligners will be issued to you every 2-3 weeks in our dental practice in order to monitor your progress, ensure your aligners are fitted correctly and apply any changes if needed to ensure a successful result. It is far more beneficial to make any adjustments during your teeth straightening procedure, rather than on completion. Many cases do not need refinements but in our opinion there will always be an occasional exception to ensure a great result that you are happy with. The upside of seeing us every 2-3 weeks? Altona Gate Dental clear aligners are comfortable and durable. We have heard incidences of other aligners breaking after a few days of usage and the wearer having to resort to using the next aligner before the required time. If your aligner does suffer from damage, and once again, it can occasionally happen, we can replace it immediately.
